Be purposed in the present. This is my intention and guiding principle when practicing self-care. Mindfulness is a skill that has helped me actualize this intention through my self-care practice. Mindfulness is the practice of being in the present. You teach your mind to focus on what is in front of you right at…
Self-care is something that is mine to create and mine to enjoy. No one can beat giving me what I need even if they tried. For this reason I have joy. My own joy.
Release yourself of the need to be perfect. Do your best each and every day.
I have made it my business to put myself first, not in a selfish manner, but in a manner in which I could show up each and every day being the best version of myself not only for my benefit, but for the benefit of those around me.
Make the time to affirm yourself and you vision. Make the time to meditate on the person you are becoming.
I am patient because I take care of myself and believe that what is destined for me will happen.
What are you believing will happen in your life?
How many times have you made the irresponsible choice of not practicing self-care?
Use self-care as a means to find encouragement from within.
