Got Stuck? Try These Tips to Streamline Your March Week: 2


For the month of March, I am going to focus my blog posts on how to continue moving forward and making progress on your goals.

 

In January, we created our goals for the year.  In February, we either began working on those goals or refining our plan of attack.  Now that March is upon us, I want to help you with your ability to make forward progress with your goals.

 

This month, I am going to focus on forward progress.  In January we all created our intentions for the year.  In February we either began working on those intentions or refining our plan of attack.  Now that March is here, I want to help you with your ability to make forward progress with those goals.  As we near the end of the 1st quarter of 2016, let us not lose our steam!  Let us march forward with even more zeal and enthusiasm.  Let us continue to strive daily to live the life we desire.

 

In March, the goal is to demonstrate your desire to live the life you desire one day and one week at a time.

 

Each week I will post on Monday a new focus for the week.

 

WEEK 2: Review Your Goal: What is working and what is not working?

 

You have your goal. Great!  You were reminded all last week of your purpose for this goal Fantastic! Now, it’s time to review what is and is not working in your plan to achieve your goal.

 

I always tell people that the most important part of goal attainment is making adjustments where needed.  If you get stuck on achieving your goal as it was initially outlined, you may find yourself spinning in circles and wondering why you have yet to complete the goal you created (fill in the blank) months/years ago.  What tends to happen in that situation is you will get frustrated and give up.  I do not want you to do that! Remember this is March and we are focusing on moving forward this month.

 

ACTION ITEM: Take 5 minutes to rewrite your goal with necessary adjustments that will assist you in making forward progress.

 

Now take out your planner and for each day this week write one action item that you vow to complete (regardless of the events that transpire in that day) that will assist you with being one step closer to achieving your goal.
