Commitment: What Are You Willing to Bet?


Last year I committed to making self-care a priority in my life. 

This year, I’ve committed to me.  I’ve committed to doing the things that I know will maintain my physical and emotional health. 

While I’m STILL finalizing my intentions for the year (and I’m actually okay with taking the time I need for that to happen) I am ACTIVELY working on making progress in a few areas that I’ve neglected.

At a minimum, I’m committing to increasing my water intake and working out a minimal of 3 times a week.  I’m starting out being realistic while giving myself room to grow. 

I’ve found that this act of committing to myself has motivated me when I’ve already lacked the motivation.  I mean who really wants to disappoint themselves over and over again?

The one pro about committing to yourself is that you always have the power to make it happen. 

As the Queen (Beyoncé) says,”I don’t like to gamble, but if there’s one thing I’m willing to bet on, it’s myself.”

“I don’t like to gamble, but if there’s one thing I’m willing to bet on, it’s myself.” 

What will you commit to in 2019?

What will you make happen? 

At a minimum, commit to 2019 being a year of personal elevation through self-care.  

May this be the year we go ALL IN by believing and working towards the life we desire.
